·         Formats are the ways in which different single camera productions are presented or packaged.
A single camera production is used for several of shorts. In the film industry the single camera is used for low budget, most common used in a music videos and used for prime times drama and advertisement.
One of the advantages of a  single camera production why a director might use because it is low cost therefore the film production can spend more money on the film such as locations, props and equipment. Another advantages of used a single camera production is that it is easily to gather all the shots on one camera and also easily to carry around (put down and put up.) Another advantages of a single camera production is that the director can rent cameras from companies and will also be cheaper this will beneficial because if you have fall back option this camera will be affordable and will be more efficient.
·         What is a series/ what is a serial or single drama?

A serial is a show that has a story-line it is often described as a serialisation from a book or a specific event. A serial is only broadcasted once and it does not end at each hour. The serial consists of the following main characters in the story. However a single drama is broadcasted but only once, it provides a presentation of real life.  It is often based on topics or issues. For example ‘Murder by my Boyfriend’ this is true story that tells her story to up to now.
·         Technical- Camera: (to deal with this section well it will be important to take screen grabs)

In breaking bad one of the camera position that the director use extreme close on the person hand. This is because the director want us to focus on the hand this also creates mystery and suspense. Due tis it makes the audience more interesting because they want to know more.

In this scene another the camera position that the director use close up on the person face. This is because the direct wants us to focus on the person face and by this we can see the emotion on the character face. As the director does close up of that characters face the effect of it is that the character is uncomfortable and intimating by this this will create tension.

In this scene another the camera position that the director use is over the shoulder shot of another character. By this the director also want us to focus on that person. The director use black colour to associate black with dangerous. Also the direct uses contrast by putting a lighter colour in the background to show that the person wearing is dangerous.

In this scene another the camera position that the director use extreme long short to show us that the characters has done something bad and shows  that he regret it.

  1. Good effort, Prezi is a more effective way of presenting this info as it lets you embed video clips and images more easily than a blog.

Nevertheless, a good attempt made to analyse the sequence and use the points we addressed in class.

Also consider the use of lighting (low key, high key) and angles and movement
